Chocolate Shop Assistant Manager – Jefferson Pointe Location
Full Time or Part Time – 1st and 2nd shifts
We are looking for friendly, sharp individuals; people who can learn about and sell our chocolates, assemble our ‘made from scratch’ artisan sundaes, and make various gourmet drinks. At DeBrand we want to work with individuals who are self-motivated, willing to learn, think and care, not only about the products we provide, but also the customers we serve and the employees we work alongside. The Assistant Manager would oversee and direct staff in shop while providing excellent customer service. Position would start as an associate and then train for management.
Job duties can include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and direct staff with a customer focused attitude
- Assist and report directly to Store Manager
- Conduct training for staff
- Ensure all store open and closing procedures are completed in an efficient and accurate manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications would include but are not limited to:
- Management and retail experience preferred but not required
- Be comfortable working on their feet all day
- Ability to problem solve with strong decision-making skills
- Attention to detail
- Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Want to have fun and challenge themselves and those around them
- Take pride in making and selling delicious, gourmet chocolates
- Be willing to help in other departments as needed
- Work quickly and efficiently with their hands
- Be dedicated to thinking and caring about what they are doing each and every day
